First Foods

Since the doctor gave us the go ahead to start feeding him food. We decided to start him on rice cereal first. I was not sure exactly how he would react if he would be ready of not. Well he was ready. He opened his mouth the very first spoonful. Acted as if we never fed him a day in his life.  He could not get enough. He was actually hitting his arm on the table like saying hurry up I want more. I can't wait to try other foods. I hope he likes them just as much as he did the cereal.

4 Months old

Time is flying by. I believe Aven thinks he's a little man. He does not want to be the baby anymore. He has to see the world and either sit or stand. Laying down he does not want any part of anymore. One thing he mastered this month was rolling over. Once he figured it out he does it all the time. Even in the middle of the night when he should be sleeping. So yeah have to watch for that. He get's fussy if he's on his stomach for to long. Although when he's there he looks like he's even trying to push himself to crawl. Yes my little baby does not want to be a little baby. He had his 4 month check up again with his vaccines. and here are his 4 month stats. Doc even gave the go ahead to start him on foods. So now the fun begins.

Trip to Magic Kingdom

They lifted the block out to Magic Kingdom so we took everyone to Magic Kingdom to see the new fantasy land. We thought this would have been a great fun day but it was soo crowded. See a theme. We only stayed for a little while and left. It was even hard to take photos of the new land.

3 months old

Aven is growing up to fast. I can't believe it. His next doctors appointment is at 4 months so there are no stats for this month. Some of his highlights are he loves to sit and stand up although he can't do it on his own he wants you to hold him there. He literately will start to fuss. Notice a picture of him sleeping on my lap because he was tired but only wanted to sit. Oh and he LOVES to smile. He's a very happy baby. We also heard his first laugh.

Our visit with Ashlyn

Over Martin Luther King weekend we drove up to visit Ashlyn. This was our first all day visit. We were not exactly sure what to do for that amount of time as we don't actually live there. The day started out by going to the skating rink and then to Marbles Kid's Museum (which was so crowded for a special science event. If we knew we would have selected a different location in the afternoon.) But oh well. It was still fun but so crowded.  Aven did very well for being out all day to. At the end of the day. Lando and I were just as tired as Aven was. But we had a blast on our visit. Here are some highlights.

New Year's Eve

For New Years Eve we went over to Jessica's house to hang out with the family. Aven also met more relatives he had not met before to.  Since he also had his 2 month check up in the morning Aven slept most of the day and night. He woke up exactly one minute before midnight. I didn't take many photos of the night since he was asleep majority of the night.

Aven's first trip to Hollywood Studios

We wanted to go to the Hollywood Studios ever since Thanksgiving to see the Osborne family lights. There was no time before the holidays to do it so we went literately the last day it was open. So here are some photos of our trip to see the lights. Aven really didn't care if he was there or not. He ended up falling asleep. There wasn't very many great shots as it was soooo crowded but it was a great end to the holidays.
